Welcome to the CSLA Retired School Librarian's Special Interest Group website!  Here you will find a template for a consulting contract if you need one in a hurry; links to websites of interest to school library professionals; and  Co-chairs Judy Cohn and Barbara Scheifler's thoughts on retirement opportunties--both are retired, and either don't do it well, or do it VERY well, depending on your point of view :-)

There is a calendar of events of interest to retired library folks, including dates for the CSLA PR booth at various conferences. 

This website will focus on ways retired school librarians can continue to serve students of California.  There are so many opportunities to stay connected, within CSLA and helping libraries in your area, that it is hard to even begin to list them.
